The French-American Charter School’s stated goals:

The Charter school’s goal is to offer children a solid education based on high academic standards and exposure to the global world. The dual-immersion French-American Charter School curriculum will employ a formula with a proven track record in private schools, and more recently, in charter schools on the East Coast. This opportunity will now be extended to everyone in our community via a free public charter school.

Any parent interested in having their child enrolled in a charter school focused on academic excellence with an opening to the global world is a parent  SRFACS would love to have. There are no enrollment ‘requirements’ (speaking French for example), and that is one of the great strengths of this school.

So excited about this! After growing up trilingual, I know first hand the importance of the option of a public school offering a bi-lingual curriculem. I went to a private school that was so high in cost my parents could barely make it. Having a charter school in Santa Rosa with these options is too good to be true!
