Host a French student this summer

March 1 2011 No Comments

Can’t afford a vacation to Europe this summer? How about inviting Europe into your home  by hosting an exchange student!  Educational Homestay Programs wishes to invite all interested Sonoma County residents, to become “Citizen Diplomats” and host an international high school student from June 23 to July 19 this summer.

We have students coming from France, Norway, Sweden, Spain and Russia.

Students will attend English language and American culture lessons weekday mornings at Sonoma Academy High School in Santa Rosa.  School bus transportation to and from your area and Sonoma Academy is provided by EHP.  In the afternoons, students are led on various fun, cultural activities to familiarize them with the beauty of our surrounding area.  Also included are two day trips to San Francisco.  Host families are invited to join us in these activities!

Open your home and heart with a place at the table and an available bed.  Students do not need their own room and EHP can provide extra beds for families in need.   Students speak English, come fully insured, and bring their own spending money.

Come be a Citizen Diplomat and help us break down barriers of Culture, Geography and Language  – One Memory at a Time!  Please contact Site Director:
