A feast of crêpes for Mardi-Gras with chef Christine Piccin
On Friday March 4 at 7pm, Vista del Lago Clubhouse, 3150 Lakeview Drive, Santa Rosa
$5 for members and $15 for non-members
Please call Monique at (707)585-8630 before March 2 for reservations
The evening will begin with a short talk about the celebration of Chandeleur (February 2) and Mardi-Gras (March 8 this year) in France, which traditionally involves making crêpes. They are fun to make, and easy once you have learned how and flipped a few yourself. If you wish, you can try your hand at making your own crêpe, and then everyone will taste everything we make, bien sûr! Light refreshments will accompany the crêpes. This relaxed demonstration class will be presented in English and in French, so it will be appropriate also for guests who do not speak French. So please bring a friend!
